Venue Shopping - September 23

We went venue shopping in Gastonia today. We had a meeting with the event coordinator at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to discuss having our ceremony there. After that, we drove around to different places for reception sites. While no event coordinator was available, we were able to give out our names and contact information and get a feel for what we are looking for. Later that night, we ate at Olive Garden. Our waiter asked if we were there for a special event. We responded that we had been venue shopping for our wedding and reception sites. He came back with our dessert place on which he had written Happy Venue Shopping in raspberry sauce. We felt very honored!
