Candy Shopping - February 15

We went shopping for the candy for our wedding favors – a candy bar – today. We decided to take advantage of the Valentine’s Day candy sales because the candy just so happens to be our wedding colors (pink and red). Because Madison had an appointment in the morning, Megan took Carrie to Target in the morning and bought the majority of the candy. That evening, Madison joined Megan to purchased the remaining candy from Walmart. Altogether, we have 25 pounds of candy – a variety of chocolate and non-chocolate treats – for our wedding guests to take home and enjoy. We will now be looking at second hand stores for cool vases and dishes we can use to display the candy at the reception.
